I live in Ohio, just wondering if anyone living where it freezes a lot has tried this? will the freezing cause the side walls to push out? I know ice can do a lot of damage. Or does the rock help? Thanks for info from anyone living in northern USA

Hey from the Ark-La-Tex! I loved Tammy’s raised beds! QUESTION for TAMMY: 1: What are you using to fill your beds please. That looks like a LOT of soil. 2. How do you install the Reservoir watering Tube 3. Do you line the inside of your raised beds with weed cloth? Thank you so much for letting us into your garden!

I’m growing burpee’s super sauce tomatoes this year. They are supposed to get 51/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide. A huge paste tomato. So far, so good. I have 6 plants with 42 green tomatoes

I at first built smaller crawl inside chicken houses, but found that every time I had a chicken keel over I had to crawl into the chicken house through the mud and shit just to get to the downed chicken. So in later chicken houses I have built them where I can just walk in easily and get to any chicken that's down or other problems that might crop up. Chickens like to dig and so do predators. So I have put Bricks and cement parking stall stoppers all around the base of my fencing. I think an 8 or 10 foot wide chicken moat is best, with overhead shelter and security. Our biggest problem today is with all the Home Construction going on in Every field around our area. This leaves No place for Rats to go except to our backyard farm. These days I am always setting Rat traps in areas where the chickens and ducks can't access them, and also in areas where the chickens and ducks can't go I poor some rat poison down the Rat holes. This rat poison is called: Ramik. Available at: IFA and other Farm stores. Just be careful that your chickens and ducks and the neighbors dogs and cats can't get to it.!!!! As it is designed to smell like fish (to a Rat), and the Rats eat it and take some home to their dens and feed it to their young and it kills them all! I like that Idea! Kill'em all, let God sort'em out! Rats are the biggest pest we have here in Utah! Not only do we have BIG Rats pestering our chickens and Ducks, but we have Really Big Rats in our State Government, beginning with Gov. Cox and his witch Dunn. (Him and his Witch ran the C.O.V.I.D. Fraud here in Utah just a little while ago). We went to Idaho to buy ALL our groceries during that event! He's a RINO and I hope he gets voted out!!!

Love the tip about mint clippings. I do have mint just not in my garden. Will definitely try that this week because I spotted two squash bugs and got rid of them last night. Also I didn’t know the why of planting petunias and tomatoes together. I always learn so much from your videos.
